Explanation of minimal mark
During a DKS inspection, elements within a room are checked. Each room belongs to a room type and each room type contains a specific selection of elements. Errors found on these elements are logged in the system.
After the check has been performed, the percentage of elements that are error-free is calculated for each room type. From the scores per room type an average is calculated, which forms the final score. In addition, a minimum mark can be set in the DKS configuration. A minimum mark of for example 85% means that 85% of the inspected elements per room type must be error free. A DKS with a score above this minimum is given a Sufficient and below the minimum a Insufficient.
Important information - The score is calculated on the number of error-free elements. The number of errors on one element, the error type and the number of rooms checked are not important in the calculation of the score. - Room types for which no rooms & elements have been checked are not included in the calculation of the final score.
Example calculation
A DKS with an minimal mark of 85
Room type sanitary: 50 elements
Space type traffic areas: 25 elements
With an minimal mark of 85, 15% of the elements may be incorrect.
For the sanitary, this is 50 x 15% = 7.5 elements > 7 different elements on which errors are allowed, then insufficient.
For traffic areas, it is 25 x 15% = 3.75 elements > 3 different elements on which errors are allowed, then insufficient.
Example audit:
1. Sanitary room - 6 elements on which one or more errors have been marked
2. Sanitary room - 2 (other) elements on which one or more errors have been marked
3. Sanitary room - 0 elements on which one or more errors have been marked
4. Traffic room - 2 elements on which one or more errors have been marked
Added together, 8 elements in the Sanitary rooms, 8 of a total of 50 elements makes a score of 84%.
Added together, 2 elements in the Traffic Areas, 2 of total 25 elements makes a score of 92%.
Average score of 84 & 92 = 88%
Roomtype | Number of elements | Number of incorrect elements | Score in % |
Sanitary rooms | 50 | 8 | 84% |
Traffic areas | 25 | 2 | 92% |
Average score: | 88% |
